A ROCK ‘N’ ROLL gig is coming to Aveley Village Social Club tomorrow (Friday) to raise money to help four year-old Mayzi Price to walk.
Mayzi, described as “very bright and bubbly”, has shown a fighting spirit since being diagnosed with cerebral palsy and brain damage at 16 months.
The Midnights, an Essex-based 1950s and 1960s, four-piece band, will be playing a set of rock ‘n’ roll in the style of the Blues Brothers.
Mayzi, from Purfleet, needs a special operation that will cost £30,000 to help her walk – hence the fundraising gig.
It will be at the social club from 8pm tomorrow and will also include a fundraising raffle with £100 voucher prizes. Entry is free.
