POLICE have released CCTV of a person they wish to speak to in connection with the theft of a rare and distinctive bicycle from the cycle rack outside the Stroud District Council building in Ebley.

The bicycle, designed for a rider over 6’ 6” tall, was stolen shortly before 1 pm on April 28 when the offender cut through the ‘D’ bike-lock and made off with the bike.

There are only a very few of this model in the country.

This is a black ‘Sasquatch’ 5 Spot Turner full suspension mountain bike, with ‘Early Fox 36’ forks, has no gears and is of high value.

The suspect is described as white, male, 6’ 2”, late 20s to early 30s, possibly short, dark hair, wearing facial hair and glasses, a hoody with red arms, jeans, and with a rucksack on his back.

The photos show the actual bike being ridden and another very similar bike.

The CCTV shows a person police wish to talk to.

Anyone who has information about this burglary, or recognises the attached CCTV images or photos, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 229 of April 28 and Crime Reference CR/9462/15.
