THE search continues to find missing Purfleet man Robert Mizzi who has been missing from his home for four days, something police say is completely out of character.

Robert, 26, of Watts Crescent, Purfleet, was last seen at the Lakeside shopping centre on Friday, April 17.

Since then police have received reports of sightings in Grays town centre, Clacton beach, Chalkwell train station and near Fenchurch Street Station in London. There is also information to suggest he may have travelled to Stansted Airport and Southend town centre.

DCI Richard Baxter said: "Not being in contact with his relatives for this amount of time is completely out of character for Robert and his family are desperate to hear from him and to know he is ok.”

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with short fair hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be wearing a grey hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms or burgundy football shorts and white trainers.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police at Grays police station on 101.
