UKIP are set to unveil their manifesto later this morning in Thurrock.

Party leader Nigel Farage will set out his party’s offerings just after 11am.

Policies are expected to include an Australian-style points based immigration system; cutting foreign aid by around £9 billion and scrapping the HS2 rail link.

Ahead of today’s launch, Mr Farage said: “In our manifesto, launched today, you will find serious, fully-costed policies that reflect what UKIP is all about; believing in our country.”

Mr Farage was in Thurrock as recently as Monday where his spoke to over 1,000 people at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
