AMERICAN singer-songwriter Dean Friedman, inset, is bringing his hit kids’ musical, Smelly Feet to the Thameside Theatre in April for one afternoon only.

The original show–with the catchphrase “a children’s musical that really stinks!” – is coming to Grays as part of a UK tour.

It debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year to rave reviews and sold-out performances.

A talented Londonbased cast will be touring the criticallyacclaimed children’s musical in the UK through 2015 and into 2016, after touring the UK and US last year.

Smelly Feet tells the very silly tale of Danny and his best friend, Pete, and their hilarious quest to find a cure for Pete’s smelly feet.’ The show is aimed at children aged three to eight, but is great entertainment for the entire family. Friedman wrote Smelly Feet after a career of writing film and TV music, and presenting for BBC radio.

There will be two performances of Smelly Feet on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 8, at 1pm and 3pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults, or £7.50 and £7 for children and groups. To book, call 0845 3005264 or visit www.thurrock.gov.uk/thameside-theatre
