WOMEN of the borough got together to celebrate 50 years of the Springhouse Co-operative Women’s Guild.
Along with dinner and dancing for the 80 members, trophies and awards were presented to people who have made the club come alive.
Carol Sans was presented with flowers and an M&S voucher for her work and Bernadette Suckling was given a trophy for making the best teddy bear in the 2014 competition.
The bears were donated to Basildon Hospital children’s ward.
