The Prince's Trust is seeking unemployed 16 to 25 year-olds from Thurrock to join their next 12-week programme.
The programme is to help unemployed young people get back on track.
Thurrock Council and the Prince's Trust are running a Meet the Team event to give young people a chance to find out more.
During a typical 12-week Prince's Trust course, participants do voluntary work, raise funds, have a week’s residential course and secure a series of qualifications in Food and Hygiene, First Aid, and Health and Safety, as well as the Prince’s Trust national Certificate Level 1 Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills.
Young people on the current team will be there to talk to the public on Thursday April 9 at Thurrock Adult Community College in Richmond Road, Grays.
The official start date for the new 12-week programme is 26 May.
The main taster day for the next programme – Team 10 – will be on May 19 between 10.30am and 2.30pm at Thurrock Adult Community College.
