15 spots for young people as Thameside hosts 'backstage day'
Thameside Theatre is working with the Backstage Centre to offer 15 spots for young people to get 'backstage' experience.
The theatre is hosting a Technical Experience Day on Wednesday, 1 April which will offer technical workshops with theatre technicians, a backstage tour and a chance to experiment with sound and lighting.
The day is designed to give young people a taste of the backstage world of theatre and for anyone looking to have a future career in the arts.
The Technical Experience Day will run from noon to 3.30pm for people aged 14 to 16 – at £3 each.
