POLICE have charged a man from Tilbury following an incident on Monday where a car ended up in the middle of the railway track in Stanford-le-Hope.
A silver Ford Fiesta had gone through a chain link fence on Waltons Hall Road and ended up on the C2C rail line. This was at about 9.30pm.
Insurance broker Jordan Walsh, 18, of Princess Margaret Road, Tilbury, has been charged with driving without due care and attention, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and aggravated vehicle taking.
He has been bailed to appear before Basildon Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 2.
