A CAT fan has television producers purring with a pitch for her own TV show.

Thorpe Bay cat lover Tabitha “Tabby” Miles appeared on TV screens again this month, in Auction House on Channel 4, with moggies Foxy and Wolfie, having last graced This Morning in October.

She is also filming for a Channel 5 programme, For the Love of Cats, which will be aired this summer, but said she is most excited about the prospect of appearing in her own TV show after pitching it to producers.

She said: “I’ve written up a show and approached one film company, who are showing some interest.

“It would be all about pets, not just cats, and would be a pet show with a difference, presented by myself and Foxy and Wolfie.

“It would be like a magazine show, similar to the One Show, but all about pets, looking at health issues, dietary issues, reviewing products and Foxy and Wolfie’s diary.”

In her recent Auction House appearances, Tabby put a number of her photographs up for auction at Lots Road Auctioneers, in Chelsea, and eventually struck lucky with a handful of three-figure sales.

“I took my canvasses to Lots Road to show their head art guy, Nick Carter, who accepted three of them to go to auction, with the crew filming how they went,” she said.

“On that particular occasion, nothing sold, but by the third auction one of them did and I’ve had an amazing response since – everything that was featured on that show has now sold.”

Next week, Tabby will be filming for For the Love of Cats, looking at the relationships between cats and their owners, which will feature footage of her modelling with Foxy and Wolfie at a photography studio in Brixton.

The crew has already filmed the trio at their home, as well as Tabby walking the cats along Ocean Beach.
