A ROCHFORD man has been missing from his home for more than a week.

Lee Leonard, 51, was last seen by his family when he left his home on Stambridge Road on his motorbike at 7am on February 28.

He did not return and police have since established that he has sold his motorbike and also taken his passport with him.

Inspector Paul Bates, of Essex Police, said: "Our enquiries to date would suggest that Lee is still within the UK and that he may be in the London area.

“He has medical conditions which he needs to take regular medicine for and we do not believe he has access to those.

"Lee’s disappearance is totally out of character and the longer he is missing, especially without access to his medication, the more concerned for him we are becoming.

“If anyone has seen Lee, or knows of his whereabouts please let us know by calling 101.

“Or, if Lee sees this appeal, I would ask him to make contact with the police or his family to let us know he is okay.”

Mr Leonard is 5ft 6in tall, of heavy build and with short shaven light brown hair and stubble.

When he disappeared he was wearing jeans and a black leather jacket.
