PALMER’S College A-level students are going back to their roots to lend a helping hand to Year 11 pupils at William Edwards School.
The maths students have volunteered to mentor students on a one-to-one basis on Friday afternoons.
Former head girl, Laura Wilmore, said: “It’s really nice to go back to our old school and help pupils, especially as we are all studying maths.”
Steven Munday, headteacher at William Edwards School, said: “We are always delighted to welcome back former students, and this incredibly generous initiative has generated an incredibly positive atmosphere at revision sessions.”
