A Grays girl has beaten off hundreds of other girls to make the semi-finals of the Miss England 2015 Beauty Pageant.
Charlotte Sams entered the Miss England 2015 Beauty Pageant and got through to the semi finals with twenty other girls.
She was chosen from over 300 girls that auditioned through three heats.
The girls had to wear a red-and-white vest and jeans to compete in the quarter-finals.
Ms Sams said: "I'm so excited to be taking part in Miss England semi final and I am proud to be the only contender from Thurrock."
Ms Sams' photo will stay on the Miss England official website till the 18th February during the voting process.
If Ms Sams makes it through to the finals, she will be competing against the other finalists in a tiara and a bikini.
There will be two competition judges - with the public acting as the third judge.
To support Charlotte - vote for her by texting 'MissSFH308' to 63333 before Wednesday 18th February, when the votes will be counted.
