Gritters out tonight as temperatures expected to drop below freezing
The gritters will be out in force tonight as the temperature is expected to drop below freezing.
Thurrock Council is gritting Priority 1 routes from 6pm as the temperature falls into minus figures.
Priority 1 routes for the Thurrock borough are:
Gritting route 1 - Bulphan, Orsett, Horndon on the Hill
Gritting route 2 - Stanford-le-Hope, Corringham, Fobbing
Gritting route 3 - Chadwell, Linford, East Tilbury, West Tilbury, Tilbury
Gritting route 4 - Grays, West Thurrock, Purfleet
Gritting route 5 - South Ockendon, Aveley
