THREE men, including one with bushy eyebrows, are wanted by police following a robbery in Westcliff.

Police are appealing for information on the trio after a 29-year-old man was violently robbed on Westminster Drive on his way home from a night out at about 3am on Christmas Eve.

One of the men punched him in the face and threatened him before demanding his wallet, which the men took cash from before throwing it on the ground, then punching the man again.

Investigating officer PC Victoria Leese said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or if they have any information about the suspects.

“The victim was returning home after a night out and ended up being assaulted and robbed of his money.”

One the men is described as white but tanned, in his early 20s, of average build, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, with a mole above his top lip, bushy eyebrows and wearing a royal blue hooded hop with the hood up and dark bottoms.

The other man was white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, wearing dark clothing including a hooded top with the hood up.

They were joined by a black man, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, wearing dark clothing including a hooded top with the hood up.
