X Factor's Lauren Platt visits Basildon Hospital kids
Singing star Lauren Platt brought a bit of X Factor magic to the children’s wards at Basildon University Hospital with a special Christmas Eve visit.
Lauren, 17, who lives in Billericay and was born at Basildon Hospital, was invited by the Danny Green Memorial Fund to come in and hand out presents to poorly children.
The presents were donated to the charity specifically for children in Basildon and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The Danny Green Fund is a local based charity committed to raising funds and awareness of the symptoms of brain tumours, in memory of Danny Green who sadly died of a brain tumour in July 2012.
