POLICE have released an efit image of one of two men suspected of attempting to rob a man walking his dog in Stanford-le-Hope last month.

A 53-year-old local man was walking his two Jack Russell dogs on Stanford recreation ground off Billet Lane at about 3.30pm on October 29, when he was approached by two men who struck up a conversation with him.

They threatened him with a knife and demanded his mobile phone and wallet.

The victim did not have any possessions on him and the suspects went away.

Suspect one was white, of slim build aged 20 to 25 years around 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, wearing dark jogging bottoms , dark trainers, and a dark water proof jacket with the hood up.

He is the subject of the efit image.

Suspect two was of a similar description to the first but his jacket had purple triangular shaped patches on the shoulders.
