Fire crews tackle flat fire in Grays
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a flat fire in Grays this morning.
Three crews, from Orsett and Grays, were called to William Street at around 11.15 this morning.
The incident commander reported that the flat was completely smoke logged.
Crews used two hose reel jets and one main jet to tackle the fire.
The fire was extinguished by around 12.15pm.
An investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.
