POLICE are investigating an attempted robbery in Stanford-le-Hope which saw a man threatened with a knife.
The victim, a 53-year-old man from the local area, was walking his dog when he was approached by two men who struck up a conversation with him.
They then threatened him with a knife and demanded his mobile phone and wallet. The victim didn’t have any possessions on him and the suspects went away.
The incident happened in Billet Lane at around 3.45pm on Wednesday, October 29.
They are described as white men aged between 20 and 25-years-old. They were both wearing baseball caps and dark waterproof jackets with their hoods up.
