IRISH country star Nathan Carter is coming to entertain the people of Thurrock.

The chart-topping singer will be performing at the Circus Tavern, in Purfleet, in November.

The Irish singer, who is signed to the Sharpe Music label and is managed by John Farry, will be taking to the stage with his band to perform his hit tracks.

Nathan was born in Liverpool to parents from Northern Ireland.

He began playing the accordion at the age of four and by the time he was ten he had won the all-Ireland title for traditional singing.

He then moved from Liverpool to live in Ireland at 18.

His first album, Starting Out, was released in 2007 and since then he has been known for reviving the Country and Irish genre.

Nathan released his fifth studio album, Where I Wanna Be, in August 2013 and his version of Wagon Wheel in 2012 topped the Irish singles chart.

The star is heading to the Circus Tavern, at Meads Corner, on Saturday, November 1 and will be delivering a night of country music to remember.
