A MAN was thrown from a car and another remained trapped following a crash in Orsett this morning.
Firefighters rescued a man trapped in a car following an accident between a lorry and a car in Brentwood Road at about 6.20am.
Two crews, from Grays and Corringham, were able to release the man using two sets of cutting equipment by 7.05am.
They also gave first aid and oxygen therapy to the man thrown from the car.
Both were left in the care of the ambulance service.
The road remained closed between the A13 Orsett Cock roundabout and Prince Charles Avenue until about 10am this morning.
