A MAN has suffered numerous bruises after being attacked by a metal bar and an axe in Tilbury.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the victim was dragged from a white van and attacked on Saturday, September 6.
The man, aged in his 20s, from Stanford, was struck with a metal bar and an axe causing bruises to his body and a cut to his head at around 12.30/1pm in Dock Road between the train station and Asda.
Three men are believed to be responsible.
It is thought a bus was passing the scene at the time of the assault. The man was dragged from a white Volkswagen van.
