PURFUME retailer The Fragrance Shop is to open a second store at Lakeside shopping centre.
The new shop, creating seven new jobs, opens on Saturday, October 11 and forms part of the retail chain's ambitious expansion plans.
Located where Rituals used to be, the unit will have a clean, modern feel and big screens will be fixed to the walls, showing perfume brands weird and wonderful adverts.
Daniel Thompson, spokesman for the Fragrance Store, said: "Opening a second store in the Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock is a real coup for us.
"The arrival of a second The Fragrance Shop further strengthens the retail offering of Lakeside and gives shoppers an opportunity to secure the very best of fragrances at great value, something that is very important to our customers in today’s tough economic climate."
The Fragrance Shop will hand out goodie bags to every customer shopping in-store on open day.
