Tub gets too hot to handle - and bursts into flames
A HOT tub got a little too hot for comfort when it burst into flames in a back garden.
Firefighters from Southend and Leigh were called to Fairfield Crescent, Eastwood, just before noon to tackle the blaze, using breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
The fire was so ferocious it completely destroyed the bath tub though firefighters were able to douse the flames by 12.19pm.
