DOZENS of tall ships leaving the regatta in Royal Greenwich will pass along Thurrock's bank of the River Thames tomorrow evening.

More than 50 of the glorious ships have been at Woolwich, Maritime Greenwich, Greenwich Peninsula and Canary Wharf since Thursday for the five-day Tall Ships Regatta.

On Tuesday, at around 5pm, the ships will pass along the Thurrock stretch of the River Thames for a an hour long 'parade of sail'.

The sea wall at Grays Beach Park will be just one of the great vantage points in Thurrock to view these stunning ships in parade.

They will be in formation and there are likely to be a lot of leisure craft forming a ‘flotilla’ around the fleet.
