TALENTED spoken word poet and hip-hop artist Scroobius Pip walked away from the Association of Independent Music Awards with a gong for best independent video.
Scroobius Pip, real name David Meads, of Stanford-le-Hope won the award with co-artist Dan Le Sac for the video to their track You Will See Me.
The song was taken from the duo's latest, critically-acclaimed album Repent Replenish Repeat, which came out in October last year and was there 2013 Christmas single.
The seven-minute long video, directed by Thomas Coles, has more than 330,000 views on You Tube and shows Meads, 33, in a trashed room.
