THURROCK-born Hollywood star and stand-up comic Russell Brand has had two buckets of icey water poured over his head.
And now he's challenged Prime Minister David Cameron and former Newsnight host - and Brand's one-time interview nemesis - Jeremy Paxman to take on the challenge.
The ALS ice bucket challenge has seen people all over the world have buckets of icy water poured over their heads while being filmed.
On Thursday, a video of former US President George Bush emerged taking on the challenge which was started to raise funds for and awareness of the ALS Association, a not-for-profit organisation that raises money for research and patient services.
Brand was nominated by Essex chef Jamie Oliver.
Immediately after the challenge, which saw two NHS workers do the honours, Brand joked: "There's no justice, there's no justice. It's a waste of water. What about Africa?"
Over to you David Cameron...
