A NEW wave tribute band is coming to Stanford-le-Hope this week.
Scam 69, a London-based act, is made up of four members, who together reproduce the music of various punk and new wave bands.
The quartet are widely regarded as one of the finest new wave tribute acts in the country and are set to take the stage at the Welcome Club.
The band have already recreated the sounds of the Clash, the Undertones, Blondie, the Stranglers and the Adverts, as well as many more punk stars.
The band will showcasing their talents at the Welcome Club, in Victoria Road, tomorrow. The show starts at 9.30pm and nonmembers are also invited to the gig for £3 per person.
