THE Royal Opera House in Thurrock is holding a special event for anyone who has a love for fashion, theatre and costume design, in October.

On Friday, October 24, an Inspiration Day is taking place at the Royal Opera House Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop on the High House Production Park in Purfleet.

The popular event, which started in 2013, has only ever been offered to groups, but this year, individuals will also be able to book a place.

On the day, a tour of the production workshop to see the craftspeople at work, will be offered.

Participants will also be able to take part in a hands-on Costume Workshop with experienced costume designer and maker Lesley Ford.

Costumes from the Royal Opera House store in Thurrock will be available to handle and even try on. The day begins at 10.30am and ends at 3pm.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential. The cost including lunch is £30 and £25 for those under 18.
