Craft opportunities ahead
CRAFT-keen residents can learn a range of skills in a series of workshops.
Tutors in painting, sewing, card-making, jewellery, drawing and patchwork will be in the South Ockendon Centre in Derry Avenue from 6.45pm on September 1 to sign up recruits.
The workshops will take place on Monday evenings between 6.45pm and 9pm, with a different subject each month, until March.
They are open to anyone over the age of 18 and cost £5 a session.
