A MAN was shot with an airgun as walked to Grays town centre.
The 44-year-old man, from Grays, was left wounded by the pellet.
He was walking along Seabrook Rise at the time of the incident, which was about 8.45pm on Tuesday, July 22.
He was treated by staff at Basildon Hospital for a minor injury to his forearm.
Detectives have made houseto- house inquiries and searched for the suspect, but are now appealing to the public for information from anyone in the area who might own such a weapon, or has any other information about the attack.
