Manure alight in Corringham
MORE than 20 tonnes of manure caught fire in Corringham.
The blaze broke out shortly after 3pm on Tuesday.
The incident commander reported that the muck heap, located in a field just off Springhouse Road was around 50 per cent alight when two crews from Corringham arrived.
They had the fire out within an hour.
