A DANCING on Ice star will be a charming prince in a new pantomime coming to Thameside Theatre.

Jeff Brazier, of Dancing on Ice and This Morning fame, will be playing the Prince in Polka Dot Pantomime’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The former amateur footballer, although from Tiptree, began his career at Grays Athletic FC so is no stranger to the town.

The 52 performances will include pantomime standards such as plenty of audience participation and modern songs to sing along to.

Running from December 3 to January 4, it is being sponsored by Orsett Hall and director Alan Barnard said he was looking forward to working with Mr Brazier.

He said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Thameside Theatre’s Christmas pantomime.

"Pantomimes are a great festive tradition and the pantomime at the Thameside Theatre is always part of many families Christmas festivities in Thurrock."

The theatre is offering an early bird deal, meaning those reserving and paying by 5pm on October 7 will save up to £3 per ticket.

Tickets are already selling fast, according to the theatre, so early booking is advised by calling the box office on 0845 300 5264 or online at thurrock.gov.uk/theatre
