AN INSPIRATIONAL youngster is hosting a World Cup themed-ball...and getting a little help from his friends - a Beatles tribute act.

The ball, which is being held at Orsett Hall, is being hosted by West Ham dan Jonjo Heuerman, 12, who has raised nearly £200,000 in the last four years.

The 1966 themed charity ball will raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund. The World Cup winning West Ham legend died of Bowel Cancer in 1993 - an illness which also took the life of Jonjo’s Nanny Lyn in February 2008, inspiring the young Hammers fan to raise money for the charity.

On July 18, the ball will serve as a fundraising event World Cup celebration.

The evening will be tastefully themed around England’s 1966 World Cup winning year, with lots of glitz and glamour.

Guests are invited to dress in the style of the era, meaning suits for men - black tie preferred but not essential - and sixties glamour for ladies.
