PROFESSIONALÂ genealogist Meryl Catty is holding talks in libraries across Thurrock to assist anyone delving into their family history.
The talks will help with anyone stuck in a rut with their research or who needs help finding family history websites or is simplyn looking for tips on where to start.
On Monday, June 2, talks will be in the South Ockendon Centre, between 10am and 1pm and in Aveley library between 2pm and 5pm.
Meryl will be at East Tilbury between 10am and 1pm and at Grays Library between 2pm and 5pm on Tuesday, June 3.
On Thursday, talks will be at Stanford-le-Hope library between 10am and 1pm and at Corringham between 2pm and 5pm.
And on Friday, June 6, between 10am and 1pm, Tilbury library will host Meryl, before she descends on Blackshots libray from 2pm in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, June 25, Chadwell St Mary library will hold a talk.
There is no need to book in advance and all sessions are free.
All libraries in the borough also offer free access to the popular Ancestry website.
