TWO of Thurrock’s most famous faces look just like Austria’s drag queen Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst...according to the men themselves!

The “bearded lady” stormed to victory in Saturday’s cheesy song contest, getting top marks from Brits on the way.

But Grays-born comic Russell Brand and Celebrity Big Brother winner Rylan Clark, from Stanford-le-Hope took to Twitter to poke fun at their own likenesses to Wurst, whose jet black locks and perfectly trimmed beard were the talk of Europe last week.

And as the show was broadcast, Brand, 38, tweeted to say: “I don't normally endorse voting but please vote for me on #Eurovision tonight. #Austria.”

After the show, he posted a picture of himself in a sparkly green dress, holding a bottle of Night Nurse and cigarette, with the caption: “I'm knackered - but what a great night. #Eurovision.”

Earlier in the week, Rylan, 25, claimed that Wurst was the love child of himself and his X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger.

On Thursday, he tweeted a picture of Wurst and said: “Myself and @NicoleScherzy are very proud of our love child representing Austria for @bbceurovision.”

On Saturday night, he tweeted a picture of him and Nicole cheering on stage during his time on the X Factor in 2012, with the caption: “Mummy and daddy love you @ConchitaWurst were very proud and cheering you on all the way x @bbceurovision.”

And later mocked up a picture of both him, Nicole and Wurst, adding: “Happy family x”.

Wurst, who claimed Austria’s first Eurovision win in 49 years, dashed the hopes of the UK’s Molly Smitten-Downes to win the song contest which was held in Copenhagen.

Wurst performed her song, Rise like a Phoenix, dressed in a golden gown complete with her full beard. UK commentator Graham Norton said Wurst had "won the heart" of audiences.
