Woman held at knife point by gang of thieves in Grays
A WOMAN was threatened with a knife by masked thieves...who demanded cigarettes.
The woman, in her early 40s, was unhurt during the terrifying ordeal.
A gang of four men, who spoke with foreign accents, got into the house on Elm Road, Grays, through an unlocked front door just before 9.30pm on Thursday night.
They threatened the female homeowner with a knife, forcing her to hand over a quantity of cigarettes.
The gang then left through a back door.
Detectives are appealing for information and anyone who might know about the burglary is urged to contact Grays police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
