STAFF and customers at the Crown and Anchor pub raised money at a beer festival in memory of a solider from the village killed in Afghanistan.
A cheque for £1,335 was handed over to Dennis Mason, the dad of L/Cpl Nicky Mason, for the memorial fund set up in memory of his son, who was killed in 2008.
As well as the beer festival, money was raised through a raffle and a bungee jump.
