PUPILS at Tilbury Manor School were able to watch as chicks hatched in class just in time for the Easter holidays.
After watching the eggs hatch in an incubator, the Year 4 pupils were able to hold them.
Head, Dan George, said: “Watching the eggs hatch and tending to the chickens has been an enjoyable experience for the children and staff.
"This opportunity has developed the children’s knowledge and understanding of animal welfare and life cycles.”
