THE Thameside Theatre has an action-packed line-up ready to keep children amused over the Easter holidays.

Four fun-filled days, fromMonday to Thursday next week, will see shows stretching from One Direction and Little Mix tribute acts to a Peter Pan musical.

On Monday, the theatre, in Orsett Road, Grays, will host Pop Factor at 2pm, giving the audience a chance to celebrate the best of pop music of recent years, with a hit soundtrack including Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber performed by 12 young tribute acts.

The following day, at 1.30pm, a swashbuckling show based on Pirate Gran books will appear at the theatre.

With a pistol in her belt and a pet crocodile under her bed, this Gran doesn’t just knit and bake. The show is suitable for all ages from three.

On Wednesday, there will be three shows called Partyman Live! – a magic and fun experience featuring some well-loved entertainers, including Jimbo and Jay Jay.

The gang take audiences on a whirlwind ride of magic, silly songs, lots of laughter and Partyman chaos.

For more than a decade, Jimbo and his gang of performers have been at the forefront of children’s and family entertainment in the UK, and this show is the first chance to see four of the company’s top entertainers all on the same stage.

Jimbo said: “The audiences inGrays have always been amazing for my shows and I can’t wait to get back on the stage at the Thameside Theatre.

“This time it’s even more exciting as I get to performwith some of my best mates and greatest entertainers in the world!”

The shows run at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Finally, Peter Pan flies in next Thursday, at 1pm. Songs, fun and fairy dust make up this musical adaptation of the timeless classic.

Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite character and meet the cast after the show.

Ticket prices vary and are available by calling the theatre box office on 0845 3005264. The theatre is also offering any three shows on one ticket for £20.
