AUDIENCES are being invited to journey into the Indian jungle with Mowgli for the timeless tale of the Jungle Book.
Featuring amazing puppetry and foottapping music, it tells the story of Mowgli’s adventure, in which he meets Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, head of the wolf pack Akela, Kaa the sinister snake and, of course, those cheeky monkeys.
As he grows up, Mowgli quickly learns he’ll have to confront his enemy Shere Khan, the tiger who wants to eat him!
The production at the Thameside Theatre, in Orsett Road, Grays, brings Rudyard Kipling’s story to life and will especially appeal to children aged four to nine.
There will be two performances on Monday, at 1pm and 3.30pm.
Tickets start from £7.50 and are available by calling the box office on 0845 3005264.
