A MAN in Grays was attacked by two men in hoodies.
The 60-year-old from Rainham was on a train back from London in the early hours of Saturday morning when he fell asleep and ended up in Grays.
He made his way onto Crown Street between 12.45am and 1am, where he was ambushed by the two men, who forced the man to the ground and kicked him in the ribs while he lay on the floor.
The yobs also attempted to steal his bag, but failed.
The victim did not attend hospital, but police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
