CHANCELLOR George Osborne is at the Port of Tilbury this morning.

Mr Osborne earlier opened the new Logistics Academy, and is shortly due to delivery his key note speech on the economy in the London Cruse Terminal after being given a tour of the port.

This is never going to happen in a post industrial economy that no longer needs labour intensive industries nor the huge volumes of people that worked in them.
