Arterial road closed following three car smash near the Treacle Mine roundabout
A ROAD in Grays that was closed following a three-car crash has reopened.
The incident happened shortly after 2.30pm between the Sainsbury's roundabout for Pilgrims Lane and Burghley Road and the Treacle Mine roundabout for Lodge Lane, Elizabeth Road and the A13.
The road was closed while vehicles were recovered and paramedics assessed injuries, which were thought to be minor.
A Renault Clio and Mercedes were said to be involved in the accident which happened near to the Treacle Mine roundabout.
