VERY POOR SERVICE on My NIGHTMARE Journey from Pitsea to Stanford Le Hope. It took me overall 2-Hours to get from Pitsea station to Grays station this morning. I had to wait 50 minutes in the rain after being informed previously (from a member of Staff) I only had to wait 20 minutes at Pitsea station, for a Replacement C2C Bus Service at 8am. When the Bus did arrive at 8:30, I were further unimpressed when the (Long grey hair) Elderly Replacement C2C Bus Driver said; he didn't know the route on how to get from Pitsea to Tilbury and Grays. Furthermore when the Replacement Bus Service pulled up in Stanford Le Hope, SMOKE FUMES began circulating from the back of the bus towards us helpless passengers. Along with the other passengers, I eventually attended the Train Station from Stanford Le Hope to Grays at 9:30. This mornings travel was an utter disgrace that could of led to further harm. I see on twitter.com/c2c_Rail Signalling problems caused by a damaged cable on the line. Compensation and refunds should be met due to the misinformed times, delays and poor judgement of the Rail Replacement C2C Bus Driver. My stomach and head still doesn't feel right after inhaling the chemicals. Will be grateful for all correspondence. Regards Paul.

C2C claimed on Twitter that rodents chewed through cabling. That's a new one. They also said they would not be paying any compensation for the delays this morning. That's an old one!
