A WOMAN fought off a robber on a bike who tried to steal her bag.
The 28-year-old suffered cuts and bruises when she fell to the floor trying to protect her bag from a man on a bike.
She was walking in an alleyway between Dunlop Road and Seymour Road in Tilbury at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, January 28, when the man wearing a hoodie zipped to the nose, tried to grab her belongings.
Police are appealing for information on the would-be robber, who is described as white, wearing a black hoodie with a bright zip at the front. He was riding a dark mountain bike with chunky wheels.
