A TEAM of six will be cycling through six countries in six days to raise money for a diabetes charity.
Charlie Dunn, 30, of Heathview Road, Grays, will lead the group.
His son Frank, one, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was nine months old.
The group wants to raise £10,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The ride will start on April 6 at Orsett Hall and finish 500 miles later in Luxembourg. Charlie, who’ll be riding with two of his brothers and three mates, said: “We just thought six countries in six days would be a fun idea.”
Further fundraising events will be taking place before the ride. Keep an eye on the group’s Facebook for more information www.facebook.com/jdrf.luxembourgcycle.
