TICKETS for a raffle raising money for Macmillan Cancer Researhc can be bought from Boots in Grays High Street.
Tickets cost £5, and prizes include a two night stay at the Waldorf hotel in London with two tickets to see Let It Be at the Savoy Theatre, a round of golf for two at the Crowne Plaza Resort at Five Lakes and a signed photo of England football legend Geoff Hurst.
Organiser Peter Land, 56, of Orchard Road, South Ockendon, said: “My dad died a few years ago of cancer. You see on TV that Macmillan is in need of donations so I put two and two together and decided to organise a raffle.”
The draw will be made on January 7.
