A MAN from Chafford Hundred died after being struck by a train at Barking.
The British Transport Police were called to the station in East London at 11.26 on Thursday morning following reports a man had been struck by a c2c train.
London Ambulance medics also attended the scene but the man, thought to be aged 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and are preparing a file for the coroner.
The man's family have been informed.
