A BELHUS club has celebrated its 40th anniversary as part of a unique Thurrock aqua club.
The Thurrock Aqualung Club held a formal dinner and dance on Friday, October 25 at Orsett Hall to celebrate and invited Belhus ward councillors Wendy Curtis, deputy mayor, and Charlie Curtis, former mayor, to the event.
More than 100 people attended the club event.
The club provides British Sub Aqua Club training and qualifications and meets every Friday at the Belhus Golf Club & Leisure Centre, in Belhus Park at 8pm.
Member at the club Mick Wood, 60, said: βIt was a very enjoyable night that was well supported by all.β
